How it works
How to collect samples in Dr.Lably
- 1
Bill the patient
Once any payment is taken, their samples join the Pending queue.
- 2
Open the patient card
Tubes are listed by cap colour, with the tests each one is for.
- 3
Collect
Click Collect All for every tube, or collect a single tube on its own.
- 4
Print the labels
Print a QR label for each tube, or print a batch from the Collected tab.
Pending queue
Work the queue oldest first
Every card shows how long the patient has waited. The time turns amber after 1 hour and red after 2 hours. A cap-colour stripe and dots show which tubes to draw.
- Filter by blood or urine samples
- Sort by longest waiting, newest or patient name
- Search by name, invoice number or phone
QR labels
A QR label on every tube
Each label carries the accession number as a QR code, with the patient, sample type, volume, date and tests. Labels open in a print window, so any printer the computer can use will print them.
- Print labels one at a time
- Print a batch from the Collected tab
