Staff & permissions
Lab staff roles and permissions with an activity log
Give each staff member a role and choose what Reception, Technicians and Pathologists can do. The activity log shows who did what.

How do roles and permissions work in Dr.Lably?
Dr.Lably sets lab staff roles and permissions per person. Each staff member logs in with their own email and password and gets one of 5 roles. Managers switch 35 permissions on or off for Reception, Technicians and Pathologists. The activity log records who registered, billed, entered or approved what.

More for running the lab
Questions labs ask about staff access
Can I hide reports and the billing list from reception?
Yes. Switch off those permissions for Reception. Registration still shows the bill being made.
Can I see who edited a bill?
Yes. The activity log records bills created, updated and deleted, with the person and time.
Can one staff member work in two branches?
Yes. Assign them to both labs, and they switch between them from the top bar.
What happens when someone leaves?
Disable their account in Staff Management. They can no longer log in, and their history stays.
How many users can I add?
Up to 2 on Growth, 5 on Scale and 20 on Premium. The Wallet plan has one user. See all plans.
