What is the Dr.Lably lab test catalog?
The Dr.Lably lab test catalog is the list of tests your lab offers. Every new lab starts with a master catalog of tests, parameters, units, reference ranges by age and gender, and formulas. Labs set their own prices, import more tests, and group tests into panels and packages.

How it works
How to set up your test catalog in Dr.Lably
- 1
Review the catalog
Open Tests. Your lab already has the master catalog.
- 2
Set your prices
Edit each test's base, urgent and home collection price.
- 3
Import more tests
Click Import Tests and tick any master test your lab does not have yet.
- 4
Build panels and packages
Group tests at one price. The saving for the patient is worked out.
Parameters and ranges
Ranges by age and gender for every parameter
Each test lists its parameters with units, decimal places and critical limits. A parameter can hold several ranges, by age and gender, or a text normal such as Negative. Calculated parameters are marked so staff know not to type them.
- Numeric, text, yes/no or dropdown results
- Drag parameters into the order the report prints
- Critical low and high limits per parameter
Panels and packages
Panels and packages at your own price
A panel bills its tests at one price, or at each test's price if you leave it empty. Each card shows what the patient saves against the tests total. Packages add a discount, rounding and a popular mark.
- Panels from tests, packages from tests and panels
- Saving shown in rupees and percent

Where the catalog is used
Questions labs ask about the test catalog
Do I have to enter every test myself?
No. A new lab starts with the master catalog, with parameters and reference ranges filled in.
Can I add a test that is not in the catalog?
Yes. Add Test lets you create your own, with parameters, ranges and prices.
Can I charge more for home collection?
Yes. Each test has a home collection price, used when the bill is marked home collection.
Can I write my own formulas?
Not in the app yet. Calculated parameters such as LDL and ANC come with the master catalog.
Which plans include the test catalog?
Every plan, from ₹1 per report on the Wallet plan. See all plans.
